Beth Silverberg, Associate

Attorney Beth Silverberg has lived in Anchorage since 1999.  She graduated from Swarthmore College with a bachelors degree in history in 1989.  She earned her law degree with honors from Brooklyn Law School in 1994 where she was an Edward Sparer Public Interest Fellow and Notes Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review.  Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Stanley S. Brotman of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.

Beth's practice is focused on family law and adoption.  She also has diverse legal expertise in the areas of reproductive technologies, non-profit governance, real estate, civil litigation, and constitutional law.  Prior to joining Mendel & Associates in 2006, she practiced law in New York City, directed an Alaskan land conservation organization, Great Land Trust, and provided legal advice and executive leadership to the Anchorage Community Land Trust, an economic development organization.  She is licensed to practice in Alaska and New York.

Beth also enjoys photography, hiking, biking and backcountry camping.
